The Elegant Brides Team loves making ALL brides feel beautiful and celebrated as their shop for their most important dress! We have an excellent plus-size selection of dresses for brides to try on.
If you find a dress you love, and we don’t have your size in-store, we’ve got you covered. We can order any of the dresses in our store in your size!

Alterations
Elegant Brides is not just a wedding dress shop, we also offer the highest quality in-house alterations for wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses, and other dress alteration requests. There’s no need to find and vet another alteration shop, we have you covered right here.
Our seamstresses are some of the finest in the St. Louis Metro East and can do everything from adding bustles to taking in your dress, so it fits you like a glove.
Your Bridal Appointment
We require appointments on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Walk-ins are welcome on Mondays and Fridays, although we recommend booking an appointment so you can have the full Elegant Brides experience!

Can I bring children to my appointment?
- To maintain a relaxed and focused bridal experience, we kindly ask that children under the age of 12 are not permitted during appointments.
